Thanks for stopping by. My name is Wil Neururer. I am the owner operator of Wil Neururer’s North Leech Lake Guide Service, member of Team One Stop , and Longville Guide Service.
Born and raised near Federal Dam, I have fished Leech Lake all my life. I have developed an obsession for fishing. If you research the archives of Leech Lake, you will see the Neururer Family without much surfing. The Neururer family owned and operated one of the launch businesses during the Muskie rampage of 1955. An unexplained event triggering Leech Lake Muskies to go wild, striking any bait possible. Neururer's Boat Launch was there during this historical event displaying one of the most iconic pictures of the event. Garry Neururer (my grandfather's cousin) is shown with a wheel barrow full of Muskies along with the biggest fish taken during the rampage.
Fishing ethics have changed now. My service is here to catch fish and use proper conservation to determine whether we keep or release the fish we catch. More commonly known as "Selective Harvest". My passion is Walleye, but I also fish for Muskie, Bass, Crappie, Northern Pike and Perch. Living in the Longville area provides me the opportunity to know Leech Lake along with the surrounding lakes. I'm always learning what works in various lakes. What works in one lake may not work in another lake. I am willing to fish a lake of your choice, or we can fish a lake I choose based on the current bite. I provide bait, tackle, rods, fish cleaning and the excitement. If you are looking for a fun and learning fishing experience I am your guy!
